Common Target Areas for Botox

Last updated 1 year ago

As you age, you may begin to see wrinkles on your face. While plastic surgery is one option to eliminate those unsightly lines, you can also choose to use Botox for a less invasive treatment of your wrinkles. Here are some of the most commonly  targeted areas for Botox:

  • Forehead

If you get wrinkles on your forehead when you raise your eyebrows, then you may be a candidate for  Botox ® injections to inhibit those unwanted lines from forming. Botox ® is a non-surgical way to minimize the appearance of wrinkles and inhibit new lines from forming.

  • Between the Eyes

Squinting or frowning can give you wrinkles between your eyes, making you look perpetually unhappy. If you get Botox injections in between your eyebrows, you can avoid the dreaded “eleven” wrinkles, giving you a younger, more pleasant appearance. Ask your cosmetic surgeon about using Botox to rejuvenate your face.

  • Outside of Eyes

Those dreaded wrinkles on the outsides of your eyes, called crow's feet, can really make you look older than you are. Crow's feet can be caused by smiling, laughing, or other facial expressions. With Botox ®, you can minimize the wrinkling around your eyes for a more refreshed and youthful look while maintaining some of your  natural movement and expressions.

  • Around the Lips

Botox® and filler injections can soften the parenthesis around your lips and up toward your nose. Smokers commonly get lines around their lips, and Botox® can  diminish the appearance of many of those wrinkles. Wrinkles like this are formed by the repetitive motions that the muscles underneath the skin are making around the mouth.
